Purpose

All articles (including Article Search Result Page articles) can be added to a shopping list page. Furthermore, all pages  show a small sign on the top right corner, which counts the articles that had already been added to the shopping list page. By clicking on that sign the user will be directed to his personal shopping list page, where notes can be added and which can be printed or send via email. Configuring the shopping list template is limited to the integration of the relevant labels. Components cannot be inserted by the author.

Configuration

To create the template, follow the steps below. 

Shopping List, page properties tab Basic
  • Step 1
    Create Shopping List Page
  • Step 2
    Integrate the following in the tab Basic
    • a. Name (If the field stays empty the name is automatically generated by the field Title long)
    • b. Title long (Title that appears in the header)
    • c. Title short (optional)
    • d. Alias
    • e. Choose Color Theme from Dropdown

  • Step 3
    Fill in all information in the tab SEO
  • Step 4
    Integrate the following labels in the tab Shoppinglist 
    • a. Icon label (Appears on the small sign which is visible on all pages. The width of the field changes according to the length of the text integrated in this field.)
    • b. Add notes
    • c. Print Shopping List
    • d. Delete Shopping List
    • e. Send Email
    • f. Message if Shopping List is empty
    • g. Link lable
    • h Link target
      Email Content
    • i. E-Mail Subject
    • j. E-Mail Body Intro
    • k. E-Mail Body Notes Title
    • l. E-Mail Body Articles Title
    • m. Footnotes Hint Lable after URL 
      Print Content
    • o. Notes Title

Additional function:

Shoppinglist Note

It can always be the case that customer put offer articles into the shopping which expire somewhen and are therefore not available anymore those aticles gets removed from the shoppinglist automatically. To make it more visible to the customer a note  will be displayed in the shopping list.

The text will be displayed only once when the customer opens the shoppinglist the first time after the articles have been removed.
