Purpose

By using the template Recall the author has the possibility to place recall information prominently on all pages. The template can be created beneath the consumer’s homepage. The integrated Recall Information is displayed throughout the whole website, including the corporate sites.

Configuration

To create the template, follow the steps below. 

  • Step 1
    Create Editorial Template which contains all information on the article affected by the recall. The page must contain at least the component Text&Media (not Text and Media as separate components)
  • Step 2
    Create Recall template beneath the consumers homepage
  • Step 3
    Choose Rollout Status from dropdown in the tab Basic
  • Step 4
    Create page
  • Step 5
    Open page

    See that a Recall component is already integrated in after creating the Redirect remplate
  • Step 7
    Configure     Recall Component
  • Step 8
    Fill in a title
  • Step 9
    Save changes
  • Step 10
    The Recall will be visible on all pages above the Meta-Navigation. It is highlighted in red and a warning sign is displayed in front of the text

  • Step 10
    • Click into the Recall component int the area "Drag components here"
    • Choose the only available option "recall"
  • Step 11
    • Fill in the following fields
    • Title
    • Text
    • URL path to the affected article (link to the previously created editorial template)
    • If needed check the checkbox Open in new window
  • Step 12 
    • Save and publish the Recall page

Integrate recall on Homepage
  • Step 13 
    • In order display the redirect on the homepage (or any page where the redirect is wanted, please check the Component Matrix to check which templates allow the redirect) 
    • Open Homepage
    • Select a location where the redirect should be displayed on the page
    • Open components list and choose recall
    • After Save and publish, the recall will be displayed on the page

Important Information:

It is important that the Recall template is ONLY used for recall information placement. It should not be used to prominently place other, non-critical information on the website.
