Purpose

The corporate section on the ALDI Nord website has a dedicated startpage with its own navigational structure. Within the header area of the template the content editor can choose between one header image, or the display of the stage theme component, allowing up to 7 images in a slider. Regarding the rest of the content displayed on the Corporate Homepage the author is rather free in placing text and media components on the template. The link of the logo can also be customized. On the tab "Homepage" in the drop-down-list “logo link” are two destinations to choose from "Consumer Homepage" and "Corporate Homepage".

Configuration

To create the template, follow the steps below. 

  • Step 1
    Create Corporate Homepage
  • Step 2
    Fill in all information in the tab Basic (see chapter B6.3.1 Page Properties Tab Basic). The following options are specific for the Corporate Homepage
    • a. Choose whether the Recall template should be activated or deactivated (relevant for career pages)
    • b. Choose whether the Stage should be displayed with one image or with the Stage Theme component
  • Step 3
    Integrate all relevant information in the tab SEO
  • Step 4
    Integrate the following in the tab Homepage:
    • a. Choose Rollout Status from Dropdown menu
    • b. Choose Channel from Dropdown menu
    • c. Choose whether the link target of the Logo Link should lead to the Corporate Homepage or the Consumer Homepage
  • Step 5
    Create Page
  • Step 6
    Open Page
  • Step 7
    The following components can be integrated on the template Corporate Homepage: Columns, Text, Text & Media, Content-Tile, Headline, Media, Info Box



Additional Note

The recruiters wanted to have the pictures on the career page always similar to the one in TalentLink. The pictures being uploaded and referenced by recruiters and HR colleagues should be used and retrieved from TLK getAdvertisement without mapping them to the Job Detail page. This means that the current functionality for Job detail page (mapping pictures with technical ID) is not required any more.
