Purpose

With the Article Tile Group, articles can be integrated on Promotion Pages, Enhanced Product Pages and Editorial Pages. Articles can be integrated:

  • Manually 1 x 1 by integrating Article Tile components into the Article Tile Group
  • By selecting a folder to the articles: All articles within the folder will be integrated in the Article Tile Group
  • By selecting a category tag: All articles tagged with the category will be displayed on the page, however the Article Tile Group will not refresh if new articles are tagged with the same category or tags are removed from articles
Within the Article Tile Group a Color Theme for all articles within the Article Tile Group component can be selected, and the display option for the first article within the Article Tile Group can be defined. Additionally to the Article Tile a Content Tile can be integrated within an Article Tile Group.

Configuration

To create the component, follow the steps below. 

Tile Group settings on promotion page
  • Step 1
    Configure     Article Tile Group
    • a. Enter section heading (optional)
    • b. If needed define an anchor ID (if the field stays empty, the integrated headline can be used as anchor)
    • c. Select Campaign category from the dropdown (ALDI current is selected by default, ALDI tip shows a tip icon above the linked articles)
    • d. Select color theme (appears as background color to the chosen articles)
    • e. Choose Hero Tile Type from dropdown menu (Default setting is Hero Tile Standard Wide (16:9 image with a text tile next to it) Furthermore the editor can choose between Hero Tile Overlay (16:9 image with text overlay), Hero Tile Standard Small (square image with text tile next to it) and none (small Article Tile display)
    • f. Choose a link path to a folder within the enrichment area in the filed Automated article assignment (in this case all articles within the linked folder will be placed on the promotion page)
    • g. Choose an Article Category from the dropdown menu. (In that case all articles tagged with the chosen category will be placed on the page. This applies for the first time integrating the articles. It will not automatically update the page when articles are being tagged with the category at a later point.)
