Purpose

The Content Tile is automatically displayed on Overview Pages and draws its content from the information integrated for the teaser information on the pages located beneath the Overview page. Besides that automatic display the Content Tile can also be manually integrated on Overview pages, independently from the location of the page that contains the teaser information. Either internal or external content can be integrated manually this way. If an internal target is chosen, the content is again automatically coming from the teaser information of the linked page. For an external link target information on teaser text and images need to be integrated directly on the component.

Configuration

To create the component, follow the steps below. 

To integrate the Content Tile on Overview Pages the Tile Group component must first be integrated on the page:

  • Step 1
    Integrate TileGroup component in a Drag Components here area
  • Step 2
    Within the Tiles Group component integrate the Content Tile
  • Step 3
    Configure component

  • Step 4
    If an internal link should be integrated, choose the path to the page in the tab Automatic configuration only internal link): The teaser information maintained on the linked page will automatically be displayed on the Content Tile. Choose whether the Link Target should be opened in the same window/tab, new window/tab, top window/tab or Window/tab popup

    If an external link should be maintained integrate the following in the tab Manual Configuration (Internal or External link):
    • a. Teaser Title
    • b. Teaser Text
    • c. Choose via radiobutton whether the URL is internal or external
    • d. Integrate URL
    • e. Choose whether the Link Target should be opened in the same window/tab, new window/tab, top window/tab or Window/tab popup
    • f. Link Text
    • g. Image Asset
    • h.  Title
    • i. ALT Text
  • Step 6
    Save changes
