Newsletters can be created and edited in the CMS. Two dedicated templates are implemented for this purpose: The Newsletter Wrapper page, which contains all information on the header and footer area of all the newsletters and the Newsletter Page which contains the actual newsletter information. The newsletters created in the CMS can be directly transferred to EletterShop, from which the actual mailing of the newsletters takes place. Therefore the newsletter target groups are defined in Elettershop and integrated in the Language Page within the CMS. For each Newsletter type and format (HTML or text) two dedicated target groups exist: One group that is tracked and a second group that is not tracked. A customer can switch from one group to the other by either unsubscribing from the tracking by clicking a dedicated link in the Newsletter Footer (the corresponding text is integrated in the Language Page), or by subscribing to the tracking by clicking a dedicated teaser within the newsletter itself.
