Purpose

As a user of the ALDI Nord website it is possible to subscribe to a variety of different newsletters. The number of newsletters and the corresponding labels and introduction texts need to be integrated in the Lanuage Page by the author. If a newsletter subscription request is send out by the user the information will be transferred to elettershop. Elettershop is responsible to send out the newsletters as well as the confirmation email to the user after the subscription request was initially send out. Since the Newsletter subscription follows a Double Optin process (DOI) the user will receive an email from elettershop right after subscribing. This email contains a link which the user needs to click to verify the subscription request.

Configuration

To create the template, follow the steps below. 

Newsletter Subscription component, tab Heading
  • Step 1
    Integrate Newsletter Subscribe component in the gray Drag Component area
  • Step 2
    All newsletter defined in the Lanuage Page will be visible and can be selected via checkboxes
  • Step 3
    Configure     component
  • Step 4
    Integrate the following in the tab Heading:
    • a. Title of the Newsletter component
    • b. Email address Input Field Label
    • c. Email address Input Field Placeholder
    • d. Email address Error Message (Gets displayed if this field is mandatory and no Email address was entered)
    • e. Salutation Select Field Label
    • f. Salutation Label “Mrs.”
    • g. Salutation Label “Mr.”
    • h. Add new Salutation Label
    • i. Salutation Select Field Placeholder
    • j. Salutation Error Message (Gets displayed if this field is mandatory and no Salutation was selected)
    • k. Required Field
    • l. Title Select Field Label
    • m. Title Label “Dr.”
    • n. Title Label “Prof.”
    • o. Add new Title Label
    • p. Title Select Field Placeholder
    • q. Title Error Message (Gets displayed if this field is mandatory and no Title was selected)

    • c. Unsubscribe link URL (Integrate URL path to Unsubscribe Form)
