CSV-Importer: Implement max retries for failed asset downloads

The asset downloader, which is part of the CSV import mechanism, tries every few minutes to load assets from the remote-server that were previously not present in the system and  tries to save them in the JCR. In the event that an HTTP status code other than 200 is answered, the download will be retried. So far, there is no limit to the number of attempts, which fills the logfiles with a load of error messages of the failed downloads.

Therefore a limit of retiries of the downloader hat been set for optimization reasons.

The app is planning to introduce a new/revised Stage component. For the maintenance of the content a new input mask is being built for the app content.

For this purpose a fixed component on the langugage page (not within the properties but in the edit mode of the language page) has been implemented.

 

Following elements can be configured in this component:

  • Headline of stage (mandatory field)
  • List of Stage Items
    • With referenz to Article-Iteration-Page (Path Browser; mandatory field)
  • Direction-Post Image
    • becomes a mandatory field if no category image is stored for the promotion tile group that results from the article reference
  • Direction-Post Text

The attributes "articleId", "promotionId" and "anchorId" are automatically determined based on the article reference stored by the editor. The component  sends only output in the webservice, but not on the web page.

Please do not use this component before the App Team has prepared and released the feature for the ALDI Apps.

Checkbox of Newsletter registration form

The text of the consent checkbox on the newsletter registration form was not aligned and thus caused an inconsistency in comparison to the other Form Pages. Therefore this has been adjusted and algined. 

Sent property from articleGroups to Apps

Promotions that are being delivered have:

  • Offer start date (showFromDate)
  • Offer End Date (showUntilDate)

However within a promotion the articles are separated into article groups where a additional end date can be maintained and which overwrites the end date of the general pormotion (→ sectionEndDate)

The app currently does not get the property from the articleGroups, therefore this has been fixed.

Bugfixes

  • Not all product images listed in CSV export - In the CSV export of product data, all data that is maintained on the article iteration should be displayed. So far, however, article images that have been maintained manually are not taken into account in the export (in contrast to images that have been imported and assigned via the CSV import). This has been fixed.
  • User publish breaks replication queue - A user publish led to a clogged replication queue on the productive system via the reactivation. Fixed.
  • NSL - add offer/assortment to NSL not working - It was not possible to add offer or assortment products into the new Shpping List after the cache was cleared and a non aldi product has been added into Shopping list via the suggest layer. This has been fixed.
  • ES - NL popup dissapears - After clearing all caches and opening aldi.es, then accepting all cookies and selecting a region, it was seen that the Newsletter popup disappeared after a second. This is fixed and the popup is displayed persistentley no matter what the current cookie status is.
Layout issue
  • Filter on offer page - Layout issue - Android 13 - When selecting filters in the offer section it was noticable that the Filter was cut of and not clearly readable. This Layout issue has been fixed.
Layout issue recipe and jobs filter
  • Job result / recipe result - sorting dropdown background layout issue - On recipe filter results and on job result navigation it was visible that the sorting dropdown handling had a layout issue - this has been fixed.
