Approve/publish products in bulk

Currently products must be individually approved and published again when they were modified, through a CSV upload for example. Since this is very time consuming, the process has been optimized and a opportunity to publish products in bulk has been implemented.

How to use:

  1. Certain configuration needs to be done for each market in the OSGI console first
  2. After enable the function in OSGI, go to AEM article overview and search
  3. Choose the group of article that have been modified via CSV import and lost approval (e.g. via offer page filter)
  4. Select the articles that have been modified (or select all is also possible) and click on publish

Important Info:

This feature will be available for France with upcoming Deployment of 1.114.

Any other market that wants to use this feature as well needs to raise a Jira ticket so we can perform the enabling on OSGI console.

Bulk publish via Article Search within the AEM

Add possibility for fourth meta navigation item

Fourth Meta Nac point here as "Placeholder"

Until now the limit for links in the meta navigation was set to three. We have now implemented the possibility to add a fourth one.

The USP component has been therefore adjusted in the width to it does not collide with the meta navigation links. If the text of the USP reached the width limit the rest will be dotte out.

Same goes for BE and LU with the multilanguage option in the meta navigation - the USP component has been adjusted so it doesn´t collide with the language switch.

To enable the fourth meta nav point, following steps needs to be done:

  • Go to the meta template and open the properties
  • Go to tab settings
  • Set the "Max Nav. Points" to 4

Implement unambiguous signals for language versions

Checkbox that need to be active on country page

From an SEO perspective, it would be helpful if multilingual content is prepared in the best possible way for the search engine and reaches the right target group in the right market.

For example: if you are looking for something in french from Belgium page, you should also see the belgian ALDI page and not the one from Luxembourg and vice versa. Same with Dutch-language content within the Dutch and Belgian markets. This does not even have to be duplicate content, but simply a product like "Coca Cola", where Google could then play Luxembourg as a relevant hit.

The usage of the value hreflong helps  google for example for indetify page with their language version via URl instead of via cookie/browser settings. Therefore we added the elements to the Page's header

link rel="alternate" hreflang="long_code"... This informs Google about all language/region versions of a page.

To make use of this feature, please open Country page and check tab "COUNTRY SETTINGS" and activate the two new checkboxes (see screenshot).

Missing label above Filter called "sorting" had been adjusted
