About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
With the new Imagemap component content authors can define up to 5 dots on an image that are connected to articles.
The articles connected to the image will be displayed as a Product Slider either beneath the image (mobile) or on the right side of the image (desktop).
The position of the dots on the image can be defined via coordinates. X corresponds to the percentage horizontal position, y the vertical position of the dot on the image.
Promotion articles must be referenced on a valid promotion day page and article section, otherwise this promotion will not appear. Assortment items, on the other hand, must be referenced on an assortment page.

The new recipe component helps to promote or highlight certain recipes and also link the customer to the needed ingredients via a product slider which contains the needed articles for the recipe.
It is possible to integrate a Headline, Subline and a Link and articles which should be displayed in the article tiles of the product slider part (same slider as the product slider for the campaign component). For the viewports xs, sm and md the component should always show one product tile in order to visually indicate scrollability.

A new dedicated Press Contact form has been created and can be integrated into a Form Page template by choosing the component Press Contact Form. The editing of the Componente is similar to the Dynamic Contact Form and topics can be chosen freely by adding new fields that will then be displayed in the dropdown menu of the topic selection.
The form itself can however be connected to Jira, so that automatically Jira tickets will be created when a contact request is being send out.
It is now possible to integrate the Video Modul component on a Background component.
The Content Slider can now also be integrated on Editorial Overview and Enhanced Product Pages.
A new article attribute has been implemented to flag that a certain article is a biocidal article. The dedicated text to this new attribute can be specified within the Language Page in the tab Articles. Within the article template it can be integrated by checking the related checkbox.
The attribute will be displayed on the same position as the Legal Text. If both legal text and biocidal attribute are maintained, the biocidal text will be displayed.
Whether the checkbox for the new attribute should be checked can also be imported via CSV import. The technical key for the new field is biocidalFlag which can be set to "True".
Furthermore, both Webservice and Algolia consider the new attribute.

On Recipe pages two new CTAs will be displayed: One to share the recipe via email and one to print the recipe. On mobile, only the Share button will be shown.
The labels for both CTAs can be defined in the Language Page in the tab Recipes.

After the release, please make sure that the labels for the CTAs are integrated in your Language Page.
If on the Big Slider articles wrongly configured articles are integrated (for example if they were not part of an active promotion page) it leads to no article tiles being displayed on the Big Slider component. Finding the relevant articles however took some time to find, which is why the relevant Stage Theme image as well as the affected article is now showing an error message. This ensures that the content authors can quickly find what is causing the issue and fix it.
Furthermore, the article Cache which lead to the article tiles not being displayed as well has now been removed.
Until now, also in the mobile view only four elements of the navigation were displayed. To simplify the customer journey on mobile devices, this has now been changed, so all sub-navigation points are shown in the mobile navigation.
In the last content Author training we already showed you the new Uberall Store Locator solution. The new store locator can be integrated on the Opening hours page and will replace the current outdated solution from Yellowmaps.
With this release enhancements on the CSS on this new Store loctor have been made.
With the switch from Elkat to iPaper to display the magazines on the website, the Elkat based templates Magazine Overview Page and Magazine Page became obsolete. Therefore, they have now been removed from the CMS.
Important Information
Since a migration from the old Magazine Overview Page to either Editorial Overview Page or Editorial Page has already been taken place, the only thing remaining to doublecheck would be the following: if you still have old Magazine Overview Pages and Magazine Pages in your CMS, it would be great if you could delete them.
The caching time for the robots.txt was set to 365 days. Since this is very long the caching time has now been reduced to 24 hours.
When integrating external URLs into the Promo URLs this was not possible without automatically adding an .html to the URL. This has now been adjusted, so that also for external URLs within the Promo URLs it is now possible to show without the .html.
Polish special characters, that are used for example in an article title were transferred into an underscrore within the URL. This has now been changed, so the special characters now automatically adjust in the following way:
The maintenance window on PROD was switched from Saturday night to Sunday night. This was changed, so the automated article processes for BE can take place on Saturday without a downtime of the AEM. This was already changed in Release 1.98.
