About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
Two adjustments have been made on the iPaper article overlay.
First up the color theme has been corrected since the color theme on the price tag on the overlay would not match the color from the actual Product Detail Page.
Also if an article is sold out or not available anymore then the Gallery images on the Product Detail Page would be greyed out with an blue banner that says either sold out or not available. This has been adjusted on the article overlay on iPaper as well so that the user can immeadiately see on the overlay if an article is not available anymore.
For Jobsearch V2 two adjustment has been implemented.
The Content Slider which can be integrated on Hompage, Editorial Page, Recipe Page, Recipe Overview, Product Category Page and more has been extended with Data Attribute:
The URLs of the store pages generated by the Uberall component should be included in the sitemap.xml for SEO.
Usually, pages that are set to "hide in navigation" are not included in the sitemap .xml. But now it is the case that the page with the Uberall locator in the real content is set to Hide-in-Nav. This would skip it during sitemap generation. So for this case the Form Pages that contain the Uberall componente are excluded from the rule "skip if hide-in-nav is set".
However to integrate the Uberall pages into the sitemap, following steps needs to be done:
An analysis has detected many Images were uploaded into the DAM that were >3MB big. This is taking a lot of space in the DAM and is not customer friendly when for example using mobile devices.
In a first step lists per market had been created to detect those large images (SUPP- 2310) but since the amount of images was too high to adjust them manually it has been decided to leave the current big images remain as they are but therefore restrict the uploading size for future uploads.
Therefore the upload of images will be restricted to 5 MB per asset
Important Info:
Please keep in mind to only prepare and import images with a maximum size of 5MB.
In Netherlands there was a set of job offer Pages where the fallback header image was visible. That indicated that the import service for header images was not running correctly.
An analysis showed that a specific importer job failed in the first step of creating the downloadStatus nodes under the job detail page. This Job has been fixed and the the asset from the TLK job offer description will be imported successfully.
