Important Information
There are no fixed heights. The height per viewport can be defined by the editor by the graphic, Each size indicates the recommended maximum dimension of the graphic (width x height) in pixel (see max-width).
Therefore it it is highly recommended to use the same height/ dimension for all slides to avoid inconsistencies.
Please prepare the necessary images for the deployment so that no images are beeing cropped.
Currently it is not possible to check if all the products from a certain category, or day, are published without checking the product pages one by one. Therefore this feature has been added and it is now possible to see the publish status on the Article Overview Page.
Currently the unsubscribe function of the newsletter is embedded in the unsubscribe form that gives feedback to the backend via Javascript.
In order to be able to reliably record the unsubscribe (for all markets), it would was necessary to integrate a direct call into the application, which is triggered when a user was successfully unsubscribed from the distribution list.
The direct call happens in the background, which means nothing will be visible on the frontend.

The link rewriter ensures that links occurring in the markup are rewritten as they are to be presented to the user after rendering the components of a page.
For example that /content/aldi/germany/de/web-consumer/angebote gets displayed as /angebote after the link rewriting.
Code wise the link is read from the href attribute and then the Sling Resource Resolving mechnism is used to find the linked resource path. At this point there was a inefficient step in the process of getting the resource path since the used get-method would pass a shortened Path in some cases.
This has been adjusted and with implementing a different get-method the whole resource path can be indentified and processed by the Link rewriter.
Algolia offers the possibility to send so called events for interactions, which are executed following the search. These events make it possible to evaluate the quality of the search results and create the data basis for the Algolia algorithm optimization.
Following two events have been integrated via front-end implementation:
Currently the publish later option is only available in the Page overview. So in case a Page needs to be checked before publishing it would take unneccessary clicking in order to configure the publish late function because the Content Manager needs open the page to give it a last check, then close the page and go back to overview to set up the publish later function.
Therefore we implemented the publih later funtion into the edit mode of a Page.
For multilingual markets (BE/LU), a further field should be submitted in the request for the newsletter subscription via the CDC.
The additional field specifies the the country and language of the user, for example "nl_BE".
In the Attribute profile it will look like following:
