About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
The Algolia search does not yet support the regionalization of articles and recipes used in Spain. To close this gap the Aloglia Search will be extended for the regions in Spain.
So if a user is on an ALDI website with regionalization, the user gets Algolia search results that match their chosen region. The displayed articles shows the article data (e.B price) matching the selected region.
Furthermore only items that are available in the region will be displayed, it is also taken into account that in regions with their own content, the recipes may also differ.
Until now the article IDs, which can be used to check article details from the corresponding endpoint, do not contain a region identifier. Therefore, it may happen that for an article ID´s different data are returned.
To enhace the region differentiation for artciles, it has been decided that at all points where the web service outputs Article IDs, they are played out "regionalized". So the region with which the call was made is adopted.
Example: The promotion endpoint is called with the region selector "reg-cat". Then all issued item IDs must contain the region identifier "cat".
We want to make the website as barrier-free as possible, therefore some parts of the website will have some adjustments:

In Language Page Properties -> TAB Labels -> section "Navigation" the labels for back and forward arrow can be edited.
For the editor, it would be practical if recipes only have to be created once and can still be used several times,
so that duplicates are avoided. Furthermore, a recipe that can be found under several categories should always be opened under the same URL.
How this funcionality works:
All copies of the recipe would then be called up at a URL (the master recipe URL) that reflects the "most important" recipe category, for example /recipes/main-course
The article CSV importer writes the articles in the CSV back to the content repository only if the data differs between CSV and content repository. For this comparison, the importer loads all content into memory under /content/aldi<country>//promotions/source-pim.
This could will be optimized, since the CSV data is already checked in at the code point in question. This makes it clear which "promotions" are needed. Therefore it is enough to specifically load these promotions and save memory space that way
It has been noticed that there was no data-attribute output for the e-mail icon/link within the recipe detail page.
This has been adjusted and the data attributes to the "Send by Mail" Button in the top right corner of recipes pages has been added.
As user it would be important and helpful to get a highlight of the field which has been entered incorrectly, also in the case for data protection checkbox.
Therefore an errore message handling field has been added into the settings of following Forms:

Now that the markets are sending their newsletters out of Salesforce, the Newsletter Wrapper Page and Newsletter Page templates can and will be removed from the CMS.
Befrehand it was already checked that the pages were not in use for a long time within the markets.
The deletion will be proceed automatically via script.
From a job seekers point of view it would be effective to have a job search field available directly in a prominent way. The header section will allow me to enter the information about the job the user is looking for. Exactly in the same manner as programmed on the job search page but withouth navigatingto job search page first.

At the moment it is possible to add react components on the promotion day page. However, these are not displayed on the publisher. Since it was not planned to allow the react components on promotion day pages, they have been removed.
It would be very helpful if a text link can be maintained and displayed on the contact form below each topic,
so that I can refer to different FAQ topics depending on the topic. This allows some questions of the users to be intercepted via the FAQ references and thus create a reduction of contact requests.
