About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
A feature toggle to enable the Region feature has been implemented.
With the 3 options in the CountryPage (TAB Country Settings, section Regionalization and Language/Region-Switch Settings) the dialogs and the switching can be controlled:

Until now the FAQ component is currently only connected to the Salesforce data from Germany. However the component is already maintainable in all countries, therefore an internalization has been made to make the component workable for all countries.
The FAQ component (FAQ Search and FAQ Category) is adapted to the interface from Salesforce and internationalized. So after Release Deployment the display of the FAQ category selection will be in the content language in the edit dialog of the FAQ Category component as well as the display of the FAQs themselves in the content language.
If there are several language variants, the language variant is automatically adapted to the country/selection.
It has been noticed that there were a total of 425 pages with an empty h3 headline tag, which is not good for SEO and performance. These empty tags are created because of the tracking opt out elements.
Therefore from now on if no opt out elements are configured then no empty h3 tags will be created. This will improve the performance and the SEO.
An analysis has shown that we should download the videos of the postings selected in the Instagram component to ensure that they can be played correctly. So from Release 1.100, after selecting an Instagram post that contains a video and saving the dialog, this video is then downloaded to the DAM in the Author.
The location of the videos is always /content/dam/aldi/{COUNTRY}/instagram/videos
For example: /content/dam/aldi/germany/instagram/videos for Germany and it will be named with the unique media ID. Every video will not be downloaded double so if the video is already downloaded in the DAM will not be downloaded again.
Following criterias adapts to the new download system:
After the adjustment of the Add To Shopping List button via which several products can be added at once, it was noticed that the Data Attributes are no longer correct. This error causes each additional add after initial product to be tracked as Remove. Therefore, some adjustments habe been made so that addition and removals can be recorded correctly.
Currently there is no possibility to see the publish state of the recipe in the Recipe Special Slider. It would be handy for the content authors if they could jump from the special slider to the individual recipes and thus possibly make changes or publish the recipe.
In Release 1.98 the component for displaying the store locator has been successfully implemented. As of now, the locator is working with the Google Maps. However when the locator is displayed with Google Maps, the IP address of the user is sent to Google, which is why consent must be requested.
Two scenarios are possible:
In addition some CSS styles which have been missing in the HTML to display the locator correctly, have been added.
There are currently no internal anchor links possible within the Theme Tile component, so the links are currently entered into the component via the absolute path. This has been adjusted so that anchor links can be entered in to the Theme Tiles Component in the usual Link field.
For example /content/aldi/germany/de/web-consumer/angebote/aktion-fr-25-03.html/2022-03-25-10-gekuehlte-produkte.html would be possible to enter into the Link field.
Until now if a user subscribed to the Newslettter and requested the link to the Newsletter account Page, then the link was provided via Email. After clicking on the provided link, the user got forwarded to the Newsletter Account Page directly where all the subscribers info was displayed.
For data protection reasons an additional safety query has been integrated. After clicking on the link which should forward the user to the Newsletter Account Page, the user gets asked to enter his email (the one he used to subscribe to the Newsletter). If the address is correct the user lands on the Newsletter Account Page and if the address is not correct then an error message will be shown.
All the configurations (for activating, lables and texts) can be configurated in the settings of the Newsletter Account Component in the tab CONTENT.

This is only relevant for those markets using the Newsletter Account function.
The product tiles on the search results page do not have Data Attributes. As a result, clicks on the tiles for example the "Add To Shopping List" cannot be recorded. Therefore the Data Attributes have been added.
The ALDI logo in the upper left corner of the page header does not have an "alt" attribute. This has been corrected and added.
The URL https://magazine.aldi-nord.de/ is included in the CSP header for www.aldi-nord.de. This has happened for other countries in Release 1.99 already.
After subscribing the remind service and reciving the confirmation link, it is expected that the link leads to the Thank You Page. However the link is forwareded incorrectly which lead to an 404. This has been corrected so that the corrext Thank You opens.
In the release 1.93 the third option of CDC (Customer Data Cloud) have been released for managing the newsletter.
In addition to that the proxy path for connecting the CDC newsletter backend has been (all environments) set up for the Netherlands.
