About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
On the Startpage a new Campaign Component can be integrated which consists of the following components:
If the Countdown component is integrated in the Campaign component it shows the time until the campaign starts. If the campaign start date is reached a dedicated text will be displayed. This text can be defined in the component itself.
If the Product Slider is integrated within the Campaign component up to 12 products can be displayed within the Slider. If the Products are part of an Offer Page the Remind Service and Shopping List Icon are displayed. If it is an Assortement Article, the Shopping List icon will show.
The color themes of the linked products is drawn from the Offer or Product Pages the article is linked to.
To have a dedicated display of the Countdown component within the Campaign Component, the Countdown Component has been adjusted. For the Campaign component style a checkbox within the Countdown component can be checked. If this is checked the color theme for the Countdown cannot be changed and will always be displayed in cyan.
Furthermore, a text can be defined in the component that will show once the Countdown time is reached.
Within the new Campaign component, the following is tracked in Analytics:
On the bottom of the Product Detail Page a list of similar products will now be displayed. The products shown in this list are the products that are within the same Article Tile Group as the Product on the Product Detail Page.
For both Offer and Assortement Articles a headline can be defined. This can be done within the Page Properties of your Language Page in the tab Articles.
The display of Content Tiles and Recipe Tiles has been adjusted, so that they will now be displayed with rounded edges.
The Content Tile Enhanced component is now been tracked with data attributes. That means that the links and buttons are generally tracked. In case dedicated tracking should be used for the single links in the link list this can be done within the Link components.
To optimize the integration of labels within the Algolia Search Box Components these labels can now be integrated centrally within the Page Properties of your Language Page in the tab Search.
The labels defined there will initially be used to fill in the labels on the Algolia Search Box components on the Startpage, the Search Page and the Offer Pages.
On these templates themselves the labels can also be defined directly in the component. Doing so will overwrite the settings coming from the Language Page.
Important Information
The Algolia Search Labels would need to be integrated on the Language Page in the tab Search after the Release Deployment.
When using the Algolia Search on Touch Devices the focus stayed in the Search Field after submitting the search, so the keyboard wouldn't close. This behavior has now been changed so after submitting the search the focus no longer stays in the Search Field.
The Suggest Layer has been replaced by the React Autosuggest library, since it brings many convenient functions (e.g. navigation via arrow keys) and thus saves development effort.
The App images in the Footer were not displayed on EN pages within the CR sections. This has been adjusted, so they will show there as well.
For the new Canary Region in Spain the entry pop up for the region selector has been developped.
For the new Canary Region in Spain the store picker and store finder has been adjusted.
All webpack relevant libraries and plugins for the React Platform have been updated.
To optimize the CSS, the print CSS is now loaded separatly. This ensures a quicker loading of pages.
When adding an article to the Shopping List, the pop up indicating that the article is placed on the shopping list overlapped the navigation. This has been adjusted.
For the Harver Go live new Tech IDs for BE, DK and PL were integrated.
It was analysed what would be needed to be able to use the newsletter Feedback component on all markets.
In regard to the ANIKO color schemes the CSS has been optimized. The use of variables and custom properties led to a reduction in size.
Selected perimeter is not displayed on Job Search Page: After opening the page with the job quick search and select a radius the Job search Page v2 would open but without the selected radius. This is now fixed.
Instagram Component - Promo Day Page cannot be approved: If a page which has an integrated instagram component has been approved the approval would be gone after a refresh of the page. Therefore, it would not be possible to get an approval for this page. This is now fixed.
Instagram Component - Carddeck overlaps CTA: The instagram component has a stack of instagram posts as mobile view. Each post is offset, and the post which are at the back of the stack overlapped the CTA of the component. This is now fixed.
Instagram Component - Button Link not a path selector field: The Button Link has now a path selector where URLs can be selected.
Instagram - Component missing: The Instagram Component is available again on all permitted pages.
Incorrect display of Algolia search in mobile view: Incorrect mobile view has been fixed.
Algolia - Border around Search Field: On smartphone the Algolia search would have a colored border (should be black) and also there was a slighty white space border visible - both issues have been fixed.
Algolia - not possible to edit components: It was not possible to open and edit the settings of the Algolia Search result and Algolia Search component. This is now fixed.
Algolia - Suggestion Layer - Entry is not selected when clicking in row: The suggest layer displays search terms suggestions, however until now it was needed to click exactly on the suggetion term to be forwarded to the refering page. This has been fixed and a click anywhere in the row is enough now.
Algolia - depublish sites and products are not removed from indices: Products were not removed from Algolia after they had been de-published. This is now fixed.
Formpage - Content displayed in full width: The content on Formpages would be displayed in full width even though it should be displayed in the containers width. This is now fixed.
Job-Detail-Page: Summary - Headline ist too small: This is now fixed.
Recipe Page - Articles from Promotion Page are not displayed: This is now fixed.
Editorial Page - Stage Theme Missing: The Stage Theme component is available again on Editorial Pages.
Big Sliders also available on non-Consumer Pages: This is now fixed. The Big Slider option is onyl available on consumer homepage now.
ALL - Move-to-top button overlaps social media: After releasing the new footer the Move-to-top button did overlap the social media bar again. This has been fixed the button does now stop above the social media bar.
DE - Special characters are not accepted as search parameters: If special characters are used in the job search (e.g. (m/w/d) which is common in Germany) no jobs will be found since the search does not accept those characters. This is now fixed.
CAN: Articles in shopping list do not reflect region change: This is now fixed.
All regional articles are visible in shopping list on default region: This is now fixed.
CAN - IMA article import Bugs - the following Bugs for the IMA article export have been fixed:
Background - Color Theme does not apply: It was not possible to apply different colors to the background component, it would only display default color. This is now fixed.
Different headline font size of article tile and content tile: The headline size content and article tile should have the same size, therefore this have been adjusted.
Stage Theme disappears if no image is used: Stage Theme would disappear completely if all images were removed and after that switched to the big slider. This is now fixed.
Thumbnails disappear after reopening of component: The thumbnails would disappear after adding and saving images into the big slider and then close and open the settings again. This is now fixed.
Newsletter Feedback Component Labels in DE, although AEM Language set to EN: Descriptions and Lable namings were set in German for Newsletter Feedback component, this has changed into English wordings.
Recipes - Videos - Link is not centeraligned: The link for activating the recipe videos was not centered. This is now fixed.
Newsletter - Subscription does not work: This is now fixed.
Content Slider: wrong label declaration for German language settings: In lables tab of the content slider one lable had a wrong declaration for german translation, the show more was translated as show less. This is now fixed.
