About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
Because of the new iOS 14.4 update of Apple users were asked to allow tracking (third party cookies) in apps they use at the moment. As a consequence the data which is collected for Facebook and instagram can not or barely not be looked in to.
Therefore a HTML code has been implemented into the header of the ALDI Hompage so that the data can partly be tracked again.

This code is now centrally managed and can be changed upon request for every country without having a system deployment.
An adjustment has been made for the Product Recall which will be perfomed for every market. Since the current Recall is at the very top of the page and has a signal red color it can distract from the actual content therefore it has been decided to replace the Recall more into the middle of the page with a lighter/ pastell red color.
The behavior of the Recall will be as usual - if there is more than one recall it will be displayed with a dropdown which can be opened to view all Recalls.

As a part of the ordering process on ALDI delivery customers can subscribe to the newsletter which was connected to the Eletteshop until now. As the Eltershop is not used for this regard anymore it is ineffective to store the user data in there. Therefore a servlet has been created to register these user into SFMC.
A contest ID is always needed for setting up a contest form. Until now This ID was configurable in the AEM which is not optimal in case the contest form is connected to the SFMC. ID´s which get transfered to SFMC should be unique and unchangeable, therefore the settings for the contest ID will be seperated for Salesforce and Elettershop.
If the contenst is connected to Salesforce (checkmark is set on active) then the ID will be created automatically by the AEM and cannot be changed anymore. If the contest from ist connected to Elettershop then the setup is as usual and the ID can be named as wished in the AEM.

After recent change of the Offers presentation, we have a problem with linking to Offers from the mainpage slider banners which made the usage of UTM parameters unworkable and slider banners with them linking to new offers doesn't work.
Therefore a solution will be provided which allows to integrate the parameters directly in the Stage component withing the AEM.
With the following steps the parameter can be integrated:
Unlock the EAN number on the contact form
In the contact form (topic "Question about product") it is possible to fill in the EAN number for the article of matter. For this EAN number it should be possible to enter up to 13 digits to be able to accepts also newer EAN numbers. The pattern which allows the format of valid EAN entries can be set in the country page as following:

Customers should get the opportunity to reach out to ALDI directy per Chat in specific contact matters. This ensures that urgent questions can be answered to the customer directly and without facing long waiting times,

Furthermore a toggle will be implemented to decide if the Chat should be active or not in gerenal. This toggle can be found in the settings of the contact form in the tab "topics overview" in the section of "Newsletter / Website / App".
