About the development of new requirements and optimizations of the Content Management System.
To keep a consistency throughout the buttons reach better clickrates some little adjustments has been made for the reminder and shopping list buttons. The new button will be bigger, more present and displayed right under the price tag.

Until now the effiency label had different scales for different article categories. To make it more uniformly and more policy adjusted a legal requirement for the new efficiency scale has been defined by the European Union with a new design which should be used in the future for any category. The new scale goes from A - G and is marked as "new layout" since it has a new design implemented. The old layout will still be existent in the meantime.
Label can be selected in the settings of any assortment product in the area Energy efficiency.

In terms of the new Design System we have now adjusted the Component buttons which contains primary, secondary, inverted and disabled buttons and also text links.
If a button is placed next to a input field (for example in the storefinder) then the hight of the input field will be adjusted according to the button.
After publishing an Offer Page in the AEM all the articles are being pushed into the Saleforce Marketing Cloud, while doing that an ImageLink gets tranfered too from the AEM for each article. This ImageLink leads to the Image in the DAM which has a white background (except for ALDI delivery articles) that is inefficient for the user in Salesforce since it is not possible to adjust the background color as needed.
Therefore all articles will have an tranparent background color in order to be able to change the background color on the Salesforce end as needed.
When your current shopping list is empty, you see a button which redirects to the homepage, which is not logical. Therefore a link to the assortmentpage would be more suitable since the customer can immediately start adding products to their shopping list.

To optimze to work in the AEM a new shortcut has been added to the action menue of the Artice tile component. This new shortcut opens a new tab which leads to the properties of the actual article Page within the AEM. If the Article tile has no reference to any article yet, the button will be not displayed.
The function is also available on Product Enhanced and Product page in the old Article Tile Group component.
The new tip component for recipes which can be added in the ingrdients section, preparation section or for the recipe page in genereal has been extended to the Webservice. This means after publishing a recipe page which contains tips they will be visible in the app as well.
It is possible to define a configration parameter on some Webservice routs/ topics. Some of those parameters have no option for a maintenance dialog. This has been adjusted and harmonized in the RecourceType settings of the page.
Until now the attributes promotionTitle and promotionNavTitle had the same value which caused wrong output. There the value for promotionNavTitle has been adjust to achieve the right output.

When using the app and click on magazine your are directed to the webpage of magazine outside the app then another click opens the desired magazine. Furthermore it is difficult for the user to see what is new when they visit the app more times, beacuse it is always the same banner with a mockup flyer that is shown.
So in order to increase user experience all magazines will be accessable in the app direclty and the front page of the flyer will be displayed directly and work as a teaser for the user. Also multiple flyers will be shown next to each other so the user can see the current and next flyers together with e.g. a christmas catalogue.
The order inside the App follows the order on the website.
Important Information
This will only work if the Content Tile Enhanced is used in the AEM, otherwise the magazine overview will not show up in the App.
On the country page there is a switch that can be used to deactivate the display of the offer date (on the product image at the top left) on all product detail pages of your country.
If the switch is active, the date is no longer displayed on all product detail pages of your country.
The Content Author Guide will be tranferred fully into Confluence by mid March. We will share the Conflence space and Link soon so that all the information can be looked up there.
